Flashback: iMPACT! – October 15, 2009

In this flashback, we take you back to a few months ago on iMPACT!, where Melissa, wrestling as Alissa Flash, took on Hamada, in a No Disqualification, Falls Count Anywhere match. Hamada was able to pick up the pinfall after delivering a moonsault to Melissa through a table.

Melissa has been featured on TNA’s “Best of 2009″ DVD! The match featured is from July 16, 2009 where she faced Sarita in a 1 on 1 Knockout’s match. Also, from what’s listed, this is the only Knockout’s match to make it to the DVD, which makes it that more special! Congrats Melissa! Match Number Two: Alissa Flash versus Traci Brooks

They lock up and Traci with a clean break but Flash chokes Traci in the corner and kicks her arm. Flash with forearms to Traci as she works on the arm. Flash with an elbow to the arm followed by a shoulder breaker for a near fall. Flash with a Flatline and then she slams Traci’s injured arm onto the mat. Alissa with a arm bar and Traci taps.

Winner: Alissa Flash

After the match, Traci attacks Alissa from behind and she takes her to the floor as we hear the bleeps fly. Traci tells Alissa that she is going to kill her.

NOTE: Sorry for the confusion if any. I was told that this match would be an Xplosion match, but it ended up airing last night on iMPACT!

Match Number One: Alyssa Flash versus Tara

They lock up and Flash with an arm bar and she sends Tara to the mat. Tara with a waist lock and Flash with punches and an Irish whip. Flash misses a charge into the corner and Tara with a Tarantula. Tara punches Flash and hits a slingshot flip leg drop for a near fall. Tara with an Irish whip and shoulders in the corner. Flash with a kick to the head and a clothesline for a near fall. Flash with a kick to the back and then she chokes Tara in the ropes. Flash with a slam and a snap elbow drop. Flash goes to the turnbuckles but Tara stops her. They fight on the turnbuckles and Tara with a superplex. Tara with a fireman’s carry for a near fall. Tara with punches and clotheslines. Tara with a snap suplex and a float over for a near fall. Flash with a pump handle throw for a near fall. Flash sets for the curb stomp and hits it. Tara gets Flash up for a spinning side slam for the three count.

Winner: Tara

After the match, Kong’s music plays and she wants to hurt someone. Kong with a big boot to a charging Tara. Kong with an Implant Buster onto Flash.

Match 1: The Beautiful People vs. Tara/Awesome Kong w/ Raisha Saeed/ODB

The bell rings and Awesome Kong immediately knocks down both of her opponents before leaving the ring. She continues beating on Tara on the outside and sends her into the guard railing as the Beautiful People work over ODB in the ring. Kong heads to the back as ODB finally fights her way back into the match.

ODB tags in Tara who comes in and takes down all of the Beautiful People and is about to hit a high risk move but ODB tags herself back into the match. Tara and ODB then get into an argument before Tara hits ODB with a superkick. Velvet then covers ODB for the pin fall and steals the victory.

Match 5: Hamada vs. Alissa Flash (Falls Count Anywhere)

Alissa Flash attacks Hamada on the entrance ramp to get this match started. Alissa pulls out a table and sets it up against the ring before Hamada is able to take her down with a kick to the face. Alissa is able to mount a comeback after pulling Hamada down from the ring apron. They two fight back up the ramp and exchange blows before Hamada tosses Alissa down to the floor and follows it up by diving on top of her.

Hamada heads back to the ringside area and sets up the table before bringing Alissa back to the table. Hamada puts her on the table and climbs up the ropes, but Alissa gets up and pulls her down and the two fight on the apron. Hamada is able to drive Alissa’s face into the apron before climbing the ropes and connecting with a moonsault that drove Alissa through the table and onto the floor. Hamada gets the pin fall for the victory.

Lauren is with Hamada and Willie Urbina is there to translate. Alissa Flash interrupts and she wants to know why TNA only cares about the Knockouts from other countries. Alissa suggests that her name be changed to ‘Welcome Mat’ for all of the primadonnas. Hamada tells Alissa to win a match so she can get an interview. Alissa leaves, but then she returns and attacks Hamada. Alissa slams Hamada on the bleachers and then she slams her head into a bench before sending her down the bleachers. A few blasts from the past of TNA come out to break things up.

Match Number Four: Alyssa Flash versus Cody Deaner in a Lumberjack Match

Alyssa pushes Cody over the toprope to the floor and Cody squares off with Tara and Christy but Kong with a body block from behind. They all go after Cody. Cody falls victim to a double suplex from Roxxi and Bolt. Then Cody is sent into the ring post. Alyssa gets the three count.

Winner: Alyssa Flash

Match Number Six: Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed versus Sarita and Taylor Wilde in a Women’s Tag Title Tournament Semifinal Match

Kong and Wilde start things off and Wilde with kicks to the leg but Kong with a body block. Wilde with a kick to the head and the leg followed by forearms. Kong drops Wilde on the mat and then Saeed is tagged in. Kong hits a wheelbarrow slam using Saeed for a near fall. Sarita is tagged in and Sarita with an arm drag. Saeed with a side slam for a near fall. Saeed with a chop and Kong is tagged in. Kong chokes Sarita in the corner. Kong with a chop followed by an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Kong with a snap mare and sleeper. Kong tosses Sarita to the ground one more time before Saeed is tagged back in and she snap mares Sarita. Saeed with a snap suplex to Sarita for a near fall. Saeed with a slam but Sarita kicks Saeed away. Sarita sends Saeed into the corner and Wilde is tagged in. Wilde with a clothesline and drop kick followed by a head scissors and a rana for a near fall but Kong makes the save. Sarita with a drop kick to Kong. Kong sends Sarita to the apron and then to the floor. Saeed with a chop and a single leg sweep. Wilde with a German suplex and bridge for the three count.

Winners: Taylor Wilde and Sarita
